Kim Kardashian’s stepmother considers herself the best candidate for the position.

American transgender socialite Caitlyn Jenner has announced that she will run for governor of California.

The 71-year-old star, who had already announced her desire to become vice president of the United States if Kanye West won the presidential election, has now made the final decision to become governor of the state.

The TV star and LGBT rights activist officially announced this in a comment to TMZ.

“I have been a disruptor my entire life, from representing the United States and winning a gold medal at the Olympics to promoting the equality movement. As Californians, we face challenges. It’s now or never to fundamentally fix our situation before it’s too late,” said Kim Kardashian’s stepmother in a statement.

However, the current governor of California is Democrat Gavin Newsom, who has no intention of leaving office.

Not long ago, Kris Jenner recalled her family’s reaction to her ex-husband’s transgender transition. Bruce Jenner, a gold medalist at the 1976 Olympics, became a transgender woman in 2016.
